The Stanwell Power Station Energy Education Centre provides a wide selection of interactive energy education models.
Catering predominantly to student groups, the centre enables students to investigate the electricity generating process and engage in interactive learning while using the on-site resources at Stanwell Power Station.
Guided bus tours of the station are also conducted. The tours cover electricity generation, waste product management, caring for the environment, careers and science. Tours can be adapted to suit educational requirements.
Tours of the energy education centre and the station must be pre-booked through the centre.
Hours of operation
Stanwell Power Station Energy Education Centre is temporarily closed. Tours are expected to recommence in mid-2010.
