Barron Gorge Hydro Visitors Centre is located near Cairns in the picturesque Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. As well as information about Barron Gorge Hydro, the centre includes information on Stanwell's other assets and the local environment.
Student group tours of Barron Gorge Hydro are available by appointment.

The Energy Education Centre at Stanwell Power Station offers a selection of interactive energy education models and information on the electricity generating process for school and not-for-profit community groups. Visits can be adapted to suit varying educational requirements.
